Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and prayers and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and all his companions.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, whose establishment reflects the ongoing commitment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia — may Allah safeguard it — to enhancing quality of life, protecting people, and fostering safe and healthy work environments that support sustainable development and align with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

Building on the national role of the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health, the Institute serves as a fundamental pillar in advancing the occupational safety and health ecosystem through building national capabilities, raising awareness, and strengthening compliance with regulations and legislation, in line with international best practices and standards.

In this context, the Board of Directors is committed to establishing an effective governance model that ensures clarity of roles and responsibilities, enhances integration among relevant stakeholders, and supports evidence- and data-driven decision-making — contributing to operational efficiency and higher-quality outcomes.

In conclusion, we affirm the commitment of the Board of Directors of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health to supporting the Institute's journey and enabling it to fulfill its national role, working alongside our partners to achieve safe and sustainable work environments that strengthen the competitiveness of the national economy and safeguard human safety and health.

The labor market in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is witnessing rapid economic and industrial transformations, in line with the ambitious goals of Saudi Vision 2030. With this unprecedented expansion in business volume and sector diversity, the urgent need to ensure safe, healthy, and sustainable work environments — placing human safety at the core of its priorities as the fundamental driver of comprehensive development — is steadily growing.

From this standpoint, and as a culmination of national efforts aimed at advancing occupational safety and health standards, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health emerges as the executive arm and the leading national reference in this field. At the Institute, we are not limited to providing training and consultancy; rather, we strive to build an integrated ecosystem that develops national talent, advances policies, and empowers research and innovation, in line with the highest international standards and practices.

Our commitment at the Institute extends beyond regulatory compliance; it reaches further to foster a deeply rooted preventive culture across all work sectors. Through our strategic partnerships, both locally and internationally, and working hand in hand with employers and employees, we deliver advanced technical solutions and innovative operational models that contribute to enhancing the efficiency and attractiveness of the labor market and reducing occupational risks.

We invite all our partners in the public and private sectors to join us on this journey toward global leadership, so that together we may build a safe and prosperous professional future for the sons and daughters of this generous nation.
